Ok, so the once a week update hasn't been going so well... alas, I'll keep trying. This is going to be a quick update because I've got to run to a meeting soon for Zoot Suit (which opens in just over a week - hence the no time situation). On Jan. 16th, I had the opportunity to go down to San Diego with my friend Sandy to see the Jeff Dunham concert. A year ago, I'd never heard of him, but last summer while working at PHD several people brought in his DVD's & they are hilarious! He's an amazing ventriloquist whose got quite the array of puppets/characters.
Sandy had bought the tickets originally planning to see it with an old friend who lived in San Diego - fortunately for me, that friend bailed & I was in! It was a fun, laugh filled evening. Guitar Guy opened & entertained for about 45 minutes. Then after a 15 minute break, Jeff & his posse brought down the house for another 90+ minutes. Walter, Achmed (the Dead Terrorist), Jose the Jalapeno on a Stick, Peanut, and even Bubba J shared the stage. Jeff is so incredibly talented - if you've never seen him, you gotta check him out... I'll even provide the link http://www.jeffdunham.com
A way for those in my life, near & far, to keep updated on my life & livings. Nothing profound or enlightening will be found... just pictures & stories of what I've been doing lately.

2008 Year in Review
Well, 2008 was quite a year for me, both professionally & personally! I had loads of fun & excitement. I’ll begin my tale of 2008 with everything I accomplished professionally – outside of Disneyland, I picked up two great shows to stage manage. In May I began rehearsals for a new original musical "Born to Ride the Waves". After many long hours, hard work, and our share of challenges, we opened to large audiences on July 4th. I made lasting friendships & memories throughout the entire process. And in November, I began rehearsing with Pomona College’s production of "Zoot Suit". We’re on winter break right now & I’m looking forward to returning to rehearsals and opening on February 4th for a limited 4 night engagement.
At Disneyland, I also experienced many exciting events. I was heavily involved in the remount production of Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage early in the year. Then I worked Grad Nites for six weeks, in addition to my normal ASM duties of Fantasmic, Jedi Training Academy & Playhouse. In August, I was fortunate to be admitted to the Emerging Leader program, a 12 week leadership experience. It was amazing – I learned a great deal about myself as a leader & an individual. I was also privileged to work several high profile events throughout the year as well: Miley’s Sweet 16, Service Awards, Candlelight Processional, and New Year’s Eve to name a few. I look forward to the continuing opportunities Disneyland has to offer.
Personally, I had many exciting social opportunities. Early in the year, I attended a Spring Training game at the Angels Spring Training camp in Arizona. After which, I headed over to Laughlin, NV to catch up with my good friend Jordan! It was a great get away to begin the year (and the baseball season – Go Angels!). Mostly, I stayed local all year – attending concerts, plays, etc all within the Los Angeles –Orange County – San Diego area. I even made it to the mountains to enjoy a night of camping!
Also, every couple of months I was able to go to Disneyland as a Guest with my sister, nephews, and/or my parents. It’s always an enjoyable time to play in the Park with my family (and occasionally my friends too). Speaking of family – they are all doing well (now). Dad gave us a scare recently with a minor stroke but has recovered 99% already. We have so grateful it was nothing more severe. Mom is still traveling around with Dad – they very much enjoy retirement. Karen (newly single) just got her Daycare license, Brandon (6) started kindergarten, & Shane (2) is two! Sarah & Julia (8) are still up in Washington so I didn’t get to see them at all this year :( But I hear all is well!

Please feel free to call or find me online anytime. I don’t do the myspace (anymore) or facebook thing right now (though that may change) but you can see/read all about my adventures right here- I'm going to try to update it at least once a week. I truly hope all is well with everyone – God bless you in 2009!
